Welcome back, once again, this is DAY 5 of Crushing the Singles Life (it is supposed to be Crushing the Singles Game, but I guess I decided to change it half way through OOPS!).
So how did yesterday go? Do you feel like you actually put in the effort to make a new friend? Did you go way out of your comfort zone? Or did you reach out to someone you didn’t reach out to in awhile? Honestly, either option is great, I want you to recognize how much you are pushing yourself in this process. Is this something that you are taking baby steps to achieve what you want to achieve? Or are you taking giant leaps? Both approaches have their positives and both have their negatives.
Please reflect on how that experience went and what you did to make this change!
Today we are talking specifically on… what do you want to get out of your time being single?
The first day we talked about how there are things that you get to do when you are single, that you will not get to do when you are in a relationship and vice versa. Come up with a list of things that are important to you to achieve during this time of being single.
This isn’t to say these are all things you can’t do when you are in a relationship, but maybe they are things that are harder for when you are in a relationship. For example going to travel! This can be harder in a relationship for some, for others it isn’t. Maybe you want to make sure you are hanging out with your friends most of the time. Or making sure you are watching the bachelor on Monday nights (because that happens tonight and I needed to remind myself to clue in).
Make sure that you are doing things that are important for you and your soul and activating who you want to be as a human being.
Alrighty, that is all I have for you today, I will see you tomorrow for our LAST DAY of Crushing the Singles Game.
because being single is NOT always easy.
